The Notting Hill Carnival is the largest street festival in Europe and is full of costumes, food, and tons of entertainment. The parade literally goes right by our flat so we were really excited to be part of the action. As we got closer to the festival we were a little worried as we learned that most residents acutally leave town...but we spoke with our porters who told us that it's perfectly safe it is just chaotic for a few days! So we set out to explore during Family Day! And Andrew arrived!
Everything was boarded up to avoid trash/broken glass
